The six points
- Silhouette match. Does the overall shape look correct for the listing?
- Stitching alignment. Symmetrical, no missed panels, consistent length.
- Logo and print. Sharp edges, correct font, correct color.
- Material feel proxy. Drape in the photo suggests weight and hand.
- Hardware. Zippers, buttons, buckles, eyelets — smooth and correct.
- Finish detail. Trim, tags, packaging condition, edges.
Why the same order matters
Human vision fills in gaps unconsciously. Running a fixed six-point checklist forces you to actually look at each point rather than pattern-match against your expectations. Almost every defect that ships was visible at some point in the QC but got overlooked at first glance.

Scoring per point
Each point is pass, marginal, or fail. Any single fail triggers a reject. Two marginal points combined trigger a reject. Only clean-pass on all six points ships.
The three-photo minimum
Do not decide from one photo. Three photos minimum — front, detail, packaging or scale reference. If only one exists, ask the seller for two more before deciding.
Photo quality prerequisites
- Natural light or 5000K LED.
- Sharp focus so you can actually zoom.
- Multiple angles, not repeats.
- Neutral background so color drift is visible.
How to reject calmly
Sellers reissue calmly-worded rejections without friction. The message that works: identify the specific point (Silhouette, Stitching, Logo, Material, Hardware, or Finish), reference the specific photo, request replacement. No apology, no drama.
